Weapon. Sorrow flooded him. He shut his eyes.
When he was informed of the terminal illness, he didn’t cry. Neither did he when his muscles were screaming in pain. He thought he was strong. He thought he would prevail. He even thought he could be a hero.
A weapon was all he was. He didn’t advance humanity. Instead, his selfish dream had only led to destruction.
As far as he knew, weapons wouldn’t cry.
Weapons only fire. Now, the weapon is fully charged, awaiting his best friend to tread into his trap.

Tears surged out of his eyes like a loose faucet. They rushed down his cheeks, threatening to flood the floor.
But they failed, wiped out by a tongue.
Shiro turned his head. A black cat appeared on his shoulder, glowing iridescently like a black pearl. Her white tail gently curled around his neck, which magically made Shiro feel protected.
For a while, it was just a very understanding cat.
Till it became more than a cat.

I just started to write two months ago. I never expected this journey to be so thought-provoking.
I've been on Twitter for two months, and I learned that I didn't struggle alone. Therefore, I want to share my experience with you. This journal would definitely be helpful to me. It could be beneficial to those who consider becoming fanfic writers to know what to expect. It could also be helpful to people who are already writers, to know that many feelings are shared.
As you might notice, it is not finished. Since advancing a skill is a work in progress, I'll be constantly maintaining it.

And the problem is not just that Shiro is dying again. Previously, Shiro was his best friend. Now, Shiro is not just his best friend. He is his husband, his “I-will-love-you-till-the-world-ends-and-beyond.” They have poured their entire souls into each other and he has known what Shiro’s soul tastes like. He has known what happiness tastes like, what heaven tastes like.

Before Snape had looked at him, drunk and miserable without knowing why, and told him that he could change his future if he wanted. Before he had pulled Snape out of the darkness he’d been determined to drown in. Before the memories. Before he’d looked into Snape’s eyes and watched him die.
Harry didn’t often change his mind, not about people. He’d been accused by Hermione more than once of being stubborn, even prejudiced. And, once upon a time, he’d thought he’d known exactly who Severus Snape was. But that had changed and Harry was no longer that boy anymore, just as Snape could no longer ever be just his hated professor.
“Before,” Harry said again, more finally.
Harry was pretty sure the fact that everyone never thought he’d live past seventeen was at least half the reason becoming an actual adult was so goddamn strange. Severus just wanted to get on with his life now that it was free of controlling old men.
Or, five times Harry flirted with Snape and one time Snape flirted with Harry.
