One-shot that I probably will expand upon and include in the multi-chapter fic I’m planning on for my WoL Yume Aino and her love interest Ser Aymeric de Borel. This takes place almost immediately following the events of the Vault, so MAJOR Heavensward spoilers to follow. It switches between Aymeric’s perspective and Yume’s. Here, Yume learns what really happened to Aymeric before his subsequent rescue, while Aymeric realizes that the woman he secretly longs for is just the comfort that he needs.
