Imogen and Laudna were friends when they were younger. Both because of proximity to one another (who didn’t run around with the neighbor kids if given the chance) and because they were both the quiet kid and gravitated to each other. For a few years. Until Imogen’s mom left when she was nine. And she and her dad had to move away. He told her it was a money thing, but looking back now, as an adult, she knows he was also trying to get away from the place his heart was broken. It’s been almost twenty years since then and she’s recently returned, not expecting to see a familiar face in the bar.
Meanwhile, Laudna never left. She mourned the loss of a friend, but when you’re that young, you move on pretty easily. Occasionally she’d think about the friend she played pretend with, but never for long. Until she bumps into her, literally, at a bar in town with some friends of hers. Different hair, but very much the same person. And she has no idea if she even recognizes her. And when someone suddenly starts flirting with her and being far too forward, Laudna panics and claims she’s there with her girlfriend, Imogen… -

Robin's spent far too much of her life being afraid. Of of what would happen if people knew the truth about her. Of her friends leaving her when they find out who she really is. After seeing Nancy get Vecna'd, she's realized there are quite frankly bigger things to worry about. Like, for example, her or Nancy's untimely death.
She doesn't want her or Nancy to die without telling Nancy the truth. She'd never forgive herself.
