“It’s not something we’ve discussed too much,” Shane admits reluctantly. “I mean, I think we talked about it once or twice, after being around Hayden’s kids. But…I was afraid…I don’t know if you want…” His sentence falters and he presses a hand to his stomach, inhaling slowly like he’s trying to soothe more nausea.
It takes Ilya’s brain a few moments to process, to catch up, to piece together this half-filled puzzle Shane’s laying out for him.
“We talked about having babies,” Ilya supplies, arching an eyebrow, “are you trying to say we are…having a baby?”
Shane sucks in another slow, controlled breath. “Um, yeah. That’s what I’m trying to say.”
“You are pregnant?”
Wincing, the shorter man nods. “Mhm.”

Yeonjun leaned against the barrier, blades cutting soft lines in the ice, hair damp and cheeks flushed. “You could at least pretend to look proud,” he called up, voice bright with mischief.
Soobin blinked down at him, arms crossed, trying to hide the fact that his chest felt ready to burst.
“Show-off.”
Yeonjun laughed, head tilting. “You liked it.”
“I tolerated it.”
“Liar,” Yeonjun’s grin widened. “You were the one cheering loudest.”
“I was not—”
“You yelled my name.”
Soobin’s ears went red. “That was the people behind me, hyung.”
“Mmhm,” Yeonjun tapped the ice with his blade, the sound sharp and teasing. “Come on. Get in here.”
“I’m not— Absolutely not.”
But Yeonjun was already holding out a hand, gloved and waiting. “Scared you’ll fall?”Or, Choi Yeonjun thought the hardest part was falling in love.

Summary
Soobin and Yeonjun have been dating for a while now—quietly, happily, and mostly under the radar. When they both got hired over their last year college break at the popular local coffee shop Brew & Bloom, they decided to keep things under wraps a little longer just to remain professional.
But what started as a quiet little lie by omission quickly spiraled into the shop’s new favorite slow-burn romance, as their attempt at discretion got wildly misinterpreted for undeniable chemistry time and time again.
Soobin was having the time of his life playing the part of someone making Yeonjun fall in love for the first time. Meanwhile Yeonjun was two espresso shots away from screaming because pretending not to already be in love with Soobin turned out to be so much harder than actually being in love with him.
The worst part was that management had never even made it clear whether or not workplace dating was actually against the rules! So what else were they supposed to do, really?
Or alternatively, Yeonjun and Soobin are recently hired at the same coffee shop while keeping their relationship status a secret and mistakenly let management believe they are the new resident, blooming coworker romance.
