“Do you need help getting out of this situation?” Obi-wan asked.
That made Maul blink in surprise. “Do I need …?” He laughed. “No, Obi-wan. I don’t need the help of a Jedi.”
Obi-wan had never quite gotten used to the amount of disdain in Maul’s voice whenever he said the word Jedi. He was also pretty sure, if he’d ever learn what Maul was doing outside this room he wouldn’t like or approve of it. But they’d spent enough time in very intimate contact that he wanted to help if there was a problem. “It’s not like I could get you official Jedi help anyway. But if you ever need anything I personally can do, you can call on me, okay?”
Maul’s gaze got softer than usual at that. He looked at Obi-wan for a while, caught in his own thoughts apparently, but the moment went as fast as it’d come. When he smiled, it was his usual predatory smile. “I called on you, didn’t I? I need distraction.”
They're still hooking up over the holonet now and then. As you do when you're a Padawan and a Sith apprentice and your masters aren't looking.

Another step and he saw red skin and black tattoos. A Zabrak, and he had a feeling he knew this particular Zabrak. General Kenobi had talked about him before.
“Darth Maul.”
“Just Maul nowadays.” The voice was raspy from disuse. “And what are you supposed to be? A plaything or a meal?”
Cody preferred neither of those options. “How about a fellow prisoner?” He tried.
When Cody gets stuck in a prison cell with Maul of all people, he tries to make the best of it. Even when the Sith figures out that Cody has feelings for his Jedi General and can't leave that fact alone.
