Sequel to Maybe For Real This Time, because I wanted to continue the canon I was creating but also I love next gen type things, so lets focus on their families in a post-COVID type setting. Summary
Kyle doesn't understand why Kenny is so protective over Butters.
When Kenny leaves town for a few days, Kyle and Stan are left to take care of a hurt Butters that shows up at their doorstep. They try their best to help him, but don't know of Butters' abusive situation and unintentionally make things a lot worse. Kyle and Kenny then must pick up the pieces and save Butters.
