    After a year in California in which his mom gets together with Jim Hopper, they move together, marry and Will gets to know his, now stepsister, Jane, they decide to move back to Hawkins. He can't believe it. He just made a friend!

    He feels more anxious than happy to be back and his anxiety was right. His friends replaced him with Eddie Munson. Their attention shifts from him to Jane and now that he's back at the Hawkins High he has to face Troy Walsh and his friends again. Over the next few weeks he experiences bullying again and can't handle it properly. He gets insulted and beaten up for being 'a queer' and his friends don't help as much as they used to.

    One day after a particular bad beating he cleans up in the school bathroom while having a panic attack and a boy helps him.

    The funny thing is he looks just like Mike...
