There's little on earth a man like Simon has to envy from Mark Renton. Simon outdoes him in everything, or near enough.
Everything except for his body.

Summary
Road Runner knows the Coyote really wants to devour him, of course he does. This is what coyotes do. Roadrunners eat lizards, eat mice, and coyotes eat roadrunners. He has seen it. Slow birds torn apart in the jaws of other coyotes that aren’t his. The knowledge doesn’t bother him much.

Summary
"Wei Ying is very good at growing things," Lan Zhan says and takes his hands, uncaring of the dirt. Wei Wuxian knows enough now to let him, knows enough that it is something Lan Zhan wants, almost needs, to stain his hands with Wei Wuxian like this.
And then later, as their scents mingle with each other's - Sandalwood and pine and lotus blooms, like a place where the mountains meet water, Lan Zhan splays his fingers across Wei Wuxian's stomach, whispers softly into the slope of his shoulders.
"Wei Ying is very good at growing things."

Summary
Killerwatt had sent the message soon after Wrench had woken Joule up- Electra would return soon. Any minute, actually, they should be back in range-
The proximity detectors flared, and Killerwatt had scarcely had time to arm himself before the door swung open, unlocked and propelled by an invisible force. Electra.
__________________________
In the aftermath of Joule's episode, they need to figure out how to move forward. Someone should let Killerwatt know that sometimes these things happen.Series

Summary
Electra's chassis is dented and there’s oil leaking from their motor case and the singed ends of loose wires hang freely and the battery isn’t even fully sitting in its tray and Wrench can see where parts of the cases housing the main rectifier and inverter melted together and the casing for one of their motor blowers and the outside of one of their motor blowers is completely cracked open.
“Ohhhh boy. That’s not good,” says Joule.
