Summary
"Wei Ying is very good at growing things," Lan Zhan says and takes his hands, uncaring of the dirt. Wei Wuxian knows enough now to let him, knows enough that it is something Lan Zhan wants, almost needs, to stain his hands with Wei Wuxian like this.
And then later, as their scents mingle with each other's - Sandalwood and pine and lotus blooms, like a place where the mountains meet water, Lan Zhan splays his fingers across Wei Wuxian's stomach, whispers softly into the slope of his shoulders.
"Wei Ying is very good at growing things."

Electra's chassis is dented and there’s oil leaking from their motor case and the singed ends of loose wires hang freely and the battery isn’t even fully sitting in its tray and Wrench can see where parts of the cases housing the main rectifier and inverter melted together and the casing for one of their motor blowers and the outside of one of their motor blowers is completely cracked open.
“Ohhhh boy. That’s not good,” says Joule.

Dinah shook her head, her expression softening into something like pity mixed with mild exasperation as she rolled her eyes. "If you really want to call me your girlfriend, Greaseball," she said, starting to walk away, heading towards the exit of the race track, "you're gonna have to do a lot more than just an 'S. O. R. R. R. Y.'"

Summary
“We’re going over there,” Tommy says. Techno opens his mouth to protest, but Tommy grabs him by the hand and yanks. It’s not hard enough to actually move him, but it gets the message across. He’s not budging on this. Techno either comes with him or stays here.
When they reach the stall, the owner straightens back up and clasps his hands in front of him. “Hey,” He says, in that same accent that Tommy can’t quite remove from his Commontongue, “Nice to see another human around here.”
Tommy is silent for a few heartbeats, both stunned and awed. “...I haven’t seen another human since I got dragged up here,” He replies, slightly breathless.
==
Tommy, a human who ended up in space after a series of events, has been adopted as a crew member of the ship SBI, consisting of Wilbur Soot, a Phantom, Technoblade, a Piglin, and Philza, an Elytrian. That, however, is a long, convuluted plot of happenings. This is about their daily lives, wherein they are constantly struggling to keep Tommy from dying.

"Robert?" Renfield pressed his hands harder against his ears, how cruel of his mind to create an imitation of Rebecca's voice, how dare it try to create an illusion of light spilling into his bathroom. He took a couple of deep breaths, in through the nose, out through the mouth. It was all just a trick of the mind.Bookmarked by subwayInterference

The building looked even worse than it had when he last passed it, somehow. Several more windows were smashed in, and there was a tarp attached to a third story doorway with no more door in it, drifting in the night air. The smell was putrid, like someone was running the world's most disgusting dog daycare inside.
