Emma realizes at this moment that this personal trainer situation is going to be much harder than she’d made it out to be. “Fine. Will you please get on the treadmill, Your Majesty?”

“Emma… Storybrooke is the size of a shoebox. I know every person in this town and believe me, none of them are viable options.”
“Why?”
“Because… We have history.”
Emma scoffs.
“So what? We have history and I would fuck you.”

“You're the worst,” Emma mumbles around a mouthful of salad.
“What was that?”
Emma swallows. “I said, this is a first.” She wishes more people fed her before trying to kill her.

Summary
After the curses are broken, things in Storybrooke finally seem to settle down into a small-town way of life. Emma is pleased with her job, with having her parents close, with her baby brother and with Friday night dinners over the Mills' house. She doesn't realize this deep feeling that something is missing until Regina announces she wants to have another child - and asks Emma to be the donor. Together, she argues, they've never failed. Though at first the idea sounds crazy, Emma soon realizes Henry is all grown-up, and that she missed too much to let this opportunity also slip away. She doesn't want to be a donor, doesn't want to let go of another kid - but there are many things she does want. And maybe this time they can do things just right.
This is a post-canon OUAT fic. Not an AU and not an omegaverse, but still g!p Emma.

Ruby had laid out the rules, more and more smug as she had gone on. “So if Regina wears a red dress, you have to pick a fight with her.” Emma hadn’t questioned that one. “But if she wears blue, you have to give her a compliment. And if she wears grey, you gotta call her Your Majesty.” She’d been a little drunk, too, enough that she’d gotten bold. “Light colors mean you have to tell her whatever’s on your mind. Whatever.” Her eyes had narrowed in ominous delight. “And for black…for black, you have to flirt with her.”

This time, Catra’s response is instant.
