Summary
“Rumor has it that the Electro Archon lets a puppet rule over her land instead of herself,” the Tsaritsa tells them both, though her eyes stay trained on Scaramouche.
“I’ve heard of it,” he whispers, still breathless more than anything else. His mouth feels dry and there’s adrenaline rushing through his veins that makes it so hard to stay still on his knees.
“You will obtain her Gnosis and bring it back home to me, won’t you?”
It’s not a question.
Beelzebul’s Gnosis.
A Gnosis that once was supposed to be his.
Or; Scaramouche finds himself in the Elventh Harbinger's company more often than he'd like. It culminates in them getting tasked with retrieving the Electro Archon's Gnosis and Scaramouche gets into conflict with his own feelings.

Summary
They sneak into Inazuma City proper, pink still dusting their cheeks. It’s not really sneaking, they’re far from recognizable, but Childe still feels a sense of unease. The city is crawling with Fatui, and if someone’s gaze were to linger just a little too long, they might see a sliver of who the two men were before, and the illusion would shatter.
The sun is beginning to set. Childe’s thoughts stray to the next morning, and the thought of turning the other man in makes his stomach turn. A bit of panic seizes his chest and it’s like Scaramouche can sense it, because he wraps his fingers around Childe’s wrist and draws little circles with his thumb before taking his hand and giving it a short squeeze.
Electricity dances between their fingertips.
Wherein: Childe is sent to Inazuma to track down the Balladeer, retrieve the stolen gnosis, and bring Her Majesty’s traitor to his knees.

“Denji, that’s not the point. It doesn’t matter that they were dudes, it doesn’t really matter if you’re gay or not, it matters that you were a kid. You still are a kid. And they were adults they should’ve-” What? Protected him? Helped him? Not asked for services?
He could list all those things, and he can already imagine Denji’s indifferent expression, a shrug, or a thumbs-up (that stupid thumbs-up) as he remarks: well, still gotta make money somehow, right?
Denji understands that activities are legal, or illegal.
Aki isn’t entirely sure if Denji realizes there’s a moral scale that differentiates them, as well.
Aki hates learning new things about Denji.
Aki thinks a lot about Denji.
About how Denji is a mistake.
About how thinking too much about Denji is the bigger mistake.
