Ah, so Val’s in the studio. Vox should have known. Bringing up Val’s schedule, today is mostly blocked-out for shooting. It’s (Vox squints) Step Brother Gets Stuck Again, This Time at the Bottom of a Tube Slide. Christ. More Angel Dust brainrot then, but Vox can’t deny that it sells. He wouldn’t admit it out loud, lest Val’s massive ego grow even bigger, but Val IS kind of a genius in his own lane.
Okay, it’s definitely warmer than usual. What’s going on? Is the thermostat on the blink? Vox’s fans whir. Shifting in his seat, his spine zings as a strange feeling trickles suspiciously southwards, coalescing between his legs. His heart rate picks up.
That has his attention.

The most unexpected new recruit of I.M.P – Stolas, formerly of the Ars Goetia, now of the Ars Banish-ed (two syllables) – is definitely a DISTRACTION.
For someone who’s never worked a crappy 9-5 in his damn life, Stolas turned out to be surprisingly industrious. He’s punctual. He’s good with paper. He gets along reasonably with everyone... after the initial shock of having deposed royalty as a colleague. Stolas even toned down his flowery handwriting enough so the rest of the team can read it, which reduced Moxxie’s bitching by at least fifty percent. No one has thrown anything at him in a couple of weeks now.
No, the problem with Stolas isn’t his work ethic.
It’s the length of his fucking skirt.

A horrible thought dawns on him... have they done this before? How many of these rooms has he cleaned after these chucklefucks have danced the sideways tango? Done the nasty? Created the two-backed spider-cat?
