Summary
During a peaceful time, Sonic and friends find an abandoned E-series Eggman robot in the Mystic Ruins. It is rusted, busted, and nested with Flickies and moss. While Knuckles is suspicious, Tails spots an opportunity to flex his innovation, and insists on taking it back to his workshop to tinker with it. Will the robot, given the name "Delta II", be able to whir back to life? Will it take a life of its own, or defect to its former master?
This is a lighthearted tale with low stakes, featuring unexpected visits, small favors, Flicky conservation, the power of friendship, and maybe a tussle with some Eggman robots.
