But when they see each other again, in a small gay bar in New York in 1991, music pulsing, lights flashing, alcohol flowing and bodies moving, they think maybe they were wrong.(credit to winehart for the brilliant 'Need You Tonight' which inspired the basis of this fic, because who doesn't love a byler 90s club fic?)

Summary
Mike goes over to Will's house after getting a distressful call from him, and ends up stuck there for a week due to a snowstorm. Will finds it hard to hide that he's been manically depressed, profoundly in love with him and blasphemously projecting his feelings for Mike onto religious imagery.

Summary
In the summer of 1989, the Byers family moves to Montauk, cutting short Mike and Will's last summer together before college. Certain he'll never see his friend again, Will confesses his love on their last night together, rocking Mike's world entirely. As the tear-filled goodbyes draw to a close, however, Mike is suddenly offered the unexpected opportunity to travel with the Byers family and help them move.
They have five days out of state together to address Will's confession, learn to communicate, and maybe, just maybe, say a few things they should have said all along.

Summary
This story is a complete rewrite of Season 5, following the original script very closely.
There is a heavy focus throughout of Will and Mike's relationship (platonic and eventually romantic). There is implied sexual content throughout but nothing physically happens between Mike and Will until the end of the story.
