Slowly, upon hearing those words escape from Enj’s lips, he moved his hands upward, so he was stroking the back of Apollo’s neck. His hands, for the first time in a long time, were not shaking, and he was totally captivated by Enjolras, who held R with his gaze.
“I love you,” Enjolras repeated. “Grantaire, I love you.”
Grantaire’s lips were on Enjolras’s, and they kissed. It was enchanting. It was important.
It was love.

Summary
Grantaire is very good at being invisible. Well, good enough to survive high school, anyway. It’s impossible to avoid the entire football team all the time, but he and Combeferre manage to hide safely in the library most days. Everything is normal and status quo until Grantaire finally stands up for himself, punches the scariest bully in the school, and starts to notice a strange relationship forming between his best friend and one of the jocks. Bad things happen very quickly and Grantaire’s mom decides to move out of town. When he returns for university a few years later, everything has changed and he’s finding it difficult to adjust. The lines between old enemies and friends blur, and Grantaire finds himself wondering whether people really can change after all.

Continuation of FOTA I.
3/13/20 ETA: Updating here to say that I'm so sorry to everyone who has read this and followed this that I have not finished this and might never do so. Not sure if I stated this, but my sister passed away in 2015 and since Enjolras' mother was her inspiration, this fic is painful for me to return to or think about.
Long story short, what was to follow was Enjolras' father losing his empire to Enjolras through his wife's legal engineering. Enjolras' father snapped and hired Patron-Minette to take it out on Enjolras. PM attempted to kill Courferre before attacking Enjolras. Montparnasse orders the rest of PM away and drops Enjolras off at a hospital after the fact. Grantaire remembers his scarf during a moment when Enjolras is healing, shows up at Montparnasse's place for it, and sees something that was taken from Enjolras that night as a trophy (probably by Babet or Gueulemer), and turns PM over to the police. Enjolras' dad is jailed when the truth comes out. Montparnasse and Claquesous break out of prison, but not before Montparnasse goes back and murders Enjolras' father. Cue fluff/comfort feels before the end.

Summary
The ABC Society has been in financial ruin for months, and social justice doesn't fund itself. When Enjolras discovers the group is fast becoming bankrupt, he is forced to choose between his inheritance and his life as he knows it. Between him and two million euros stands an abusive and corrupt father, an ethically dubious burglary, crucifixion via media, kidnapping and an incensed Montparnasse. To save the ABC, Enjolras must expose every lie and secret he has kept hidden for five years, drawing himself, Grantaire and his friends into the line of fire.
