Summary
Ambivalence (n.):
A state of internal dialectical tension caused by coexisting contradictory emotions or motivations, often resulting in impaired emotional regulation.Three weeks after Ford’s near-death experience, the portal still hasn’t been dismantled. It feels like the universe is stuck in limbo: Stan just wants to be a good brother, but he doesn’t want to get caught up in his twin’s creepy demonic cult; Ford wants to leave his past behind, but not if he has to destroy the Earth in the process; and Bill wants everything, but the multiverse refuses to let him have it.
If they keep throwing spaghetti at the wall, maybe something will finally stick.

Summary
Bill is out doing some BS with Sixer, and the Henchmaniacs are left to their own devices for another indeterminate amount of time. Pyronica discovers that the Fearamid booze stocks are completely out and insists the gang go on a beer run. The problem is, they’ve been banned from every liquor store in an 18-dimension radius around the Nightmare Realm.

Summary
“Listen, Cipher,” Ford growls, “because I am about to make something very, very clear.”
He moves away from the machine and steps up to Bill, poking him pointedly in his naked chest.
“You and I are through,” he says. “Whatever… whatever partnership we had before died the day you threatened my home and my family.”
He grabs both sides of Bill’s shirt in one fist so he can yank him in close, look into his wide, wide eye.
“So you can keep begging, keep manipulating, keep manhandling me, but the results will all be the same,” he declares, “because I will never sleep with you again. Ever."
Two hours later, Ford finds himself bent over the bathroom sink as Bill fucks him from behind.

Summary
Ford glances at the clock on the wall as though just noticing it. “Oh,” he says, sounding unimpressed. “They docked our time. What’d you do?”
"Why is it always my fault?” Bill demands. “Maybe the sociopaths running this place just have a grudge against me. Ever consider that?”

Bookmarker's Notes
A conjugal visit at the Theraprism, but their time together has been shortened due to Bill's choices. Very well written. Deeply painful to read. Remember folks: institutionalization is always wrong! There are better forms of rehabilitation out there that don't strip people of their rights.
