Summary
In a world ruled by archangels, power and histories are vast, often dwarfing the stories of mortals and immortals alike. One such story is of fledglings, Kuroo and Tsukishima finding each other and sparking a friendship that spans centuries.
The mapping of their history earns nicks and scratches as the years wear on, though a few markings are all but tears through that very map. To put it plainly, a nick—was when Kuroo's mother sat with Tsukishima as he painted.
A scratch was when Tsukishima cuffed Kuroo's nape and the red-winged angel's heart squeezed, his breath catching in his throat and Kuroo had no idea why.
A tear was when the seasons disappeared.
A rip—the world is fracturing and Kuroo falls from the sky.
Finally the map catches fire as darkness descends.

Summary

“Or what about Ushijima?”
That catches Kiyoomi’s attention, and he stops in the middle of the street to turn around and scowl at Atsumu. “What about Ushijima?”
Atsumu must tilt his head back to smirk up at Kiyoomi from beneath the visor of his cap. “He’s not workin’ on quicks. You’d be a step ahead of him if ya did. He might even raise an eyebrow in surprise or somethin’ equally as scandalous.”
Kiyoomi stares at him, narrows his gaze as he scrutinises Atsumu’s face, the challenge in the upturned corners of his lips. “Are you attempting to manipulate me, Miya?” he asks.
“I dunno. Is it workin’?”
“Kind of.”
“Then yeah, I guess.”
