Roy takes Jason’s hand and kisses each one of his knuckles. “You’re really hung up on this, huh?” Jason nods. Roy takes his time tracing the deep creases of Jason’s palm, skirting over calluses. He strokes along Jason’s life line like an answer is inscribed there. “Okay,” he says finally. “Marry me, then.”
