Summary
Slade hasn’t seen Grayson in months. Would have been smarter to keep it that way. There won’t be any more of Grayson’s usual, far too easy willingness to forgive and forget, not anymore. So circling back into Grayson’s territory makes very little sense.
Slade does it anyway. Sends an acceptance the moment he sees a contract in Gotham. Not even anything that pays enough to be worth the risk, so he can’t use money as an excuse for why he does it.
