The teenager's eyes are heavy with sleep, and his expression conveys irritation at being disturbed from his slumber.
“Who the fuck are you supposed to be? Is this some shitty Halloween costume?” His ruby eyes scan his clothes, taking in the frayed scarf and drenched cloth.
“My apologies, I seem to have stumbled into the wrong neighborhood,” Ajax explains, clearing his throat. “I’m actually quite lost, I was hoping to find a place to stay for the night, if you would be so kind. I can offer a hefty sum of mora in exchange.” He reaches into his pouch, pulling out a handful of shiny coins and holding them out to the teenager.
“Hah? Is this some kind of joke? Get lost, I'm not fucking interested. Go peddle your crap to your homeless buddies,” The teen stares at him like he’s some descender who crash-landed on Teyvat before slamming the door in his face.

You couldn’t even be in the same room together without getting into an argument or breaking a table.” He laughs a little. Katsuki doesn’t understand how any of this is funny. “Then one day, you guys came into work and… you smelled like him. Everything calmed down after that. It was like all of that hatred and tension was just your way of trying to process your feelings for one another. Once you guys finally, uh, talked it out, things got better.”
(In which Katsuki Bakugou is attacked and loses all recollection of his relationship with Izuku and has to learn to fall in love with him all over again. Faced with a hero case involving a serial killer and missing omegas, Katsuki needs to learn to put aside his own prejudice and open himself up to truth.)

Gojo sat there for a time, absently running his fingers over the bumps and ridges of the skull. This skull was female, according to its rounder eye sockets and less prominent brow bone. There was a faint, faint echo of cursed energy still clinging to it: residuals left over from a long-dead sorcerer or curse user. This person had been powerful. Some kind of cursed speech user, but the echo of positive cursed energy meant they could self-heal their throat even as it was torn by their own power. Nearly invulnerable, like he himself was.
That hadn’t saved them. Hadn’t saved any of the people who’d been imprisoned here. Invulnerability couldn’t save people from themseves.(Gojo is stuck in the prison realm with nothing but his own thoughts and the skeletons of his predecessors for company. It goes about as well as you'd expect. Then he finds a way out, but the world he stumbles into isn't his own. Not even close.)

Katsuki watches the throng of students disperse as he leans against a wall, tired eyes expectantly scanning for familiar faces.
Or familiar...hair.
Katsuki spots the messy green curls just before they dip behind a taller girl.
He kicks off the wall, eyes growing wide. Certainly not what he expected, but today has been a real fucking shitshow of unexpected nonsensical shit, so he can’t be bothered to wonder at this point.
He can’t say he’s glad to see Izuku, but he also can’t deny this is the most relief he’s felt since waking up.
He pushes through idling bodies and grabs Izuku’s upper arm before he can think twice, dragging him into a nearby empty room.
Katsuki releases him with a huff and spins around, immediately taken aback by Izuku’s widened eyes and his notably thinner arms wrapped around a biology textbook. He nervously clings to it, grip tightening when he meets Katsuki’s gaze.
