Summary
Caleb Widogast is a young man attending college in Oldenburg, Germany. After an accident on a bicycle, he starts having dreams. Strange dreams. Dreams about...himself? Dreams he forgot he had before, long ago, as a child. Dreams of a man from another world, a man named Bren Aldric Ermendrud, a mage of mythic days who also had dreams, dreams of fire and dreams of a creature, a lavender hued humanoid, trapped within a willow, seeking freedom from magical confines.
To the chagrin of all around him, Caleb begins to suspect they might be memories of a past life. As he lives out in dreams what happened to Bren Aldric Ermendrud and the Nymph, a mystic named Mollymauk, he returns home to the Isle of Rügen to search for the place where the willow might be, crossing worlds, - in dreams and in life - in hopes of giving himself a happier ending than Bren Aldric Ermendrud ever got.

Caleb’s still mildly dazed from the kiss, but has just enough of a clear head to answer. “Er, ja?”
“I know, because I could hear you.” Molly reaches up to tap where a matching earring sparkles subtly in his earlobe. “Do you realize, Mr. Caleb, how rude it is that you’ve been speaking to me all afternoon, and I haven’t been able to return the favor? I feel like I should teach you a lesson.”

Caleb flips one of his cards over, checking something on the back before shuffling it to the rear of the stack, not taking his eyes off them. Despite Caleb’s apparent focus on the cards, Molly knows his attention is focused on him; Caleb’s regard is warm, like sitting under a sunlamp.
"Because,” Caleb says, his brow wrinkling a moment at something in his notes before smoothing again. “I will use my tie to bind your hands and then have my wicked way with you." Caleb's eyes flick up to meet Molly's, and it's all Molly can do to stifle a very inappropriate whine at the look of intense want in Caleb's gaze. "And I can be very wicked when I have a mind to, schatz."

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
