It was a twisted sort of Parent Trap. Nathan paid his loyalties to the Moriyamas with one twin, while Mary escaped with the other. Noah Ezra Hatford has lived his life since he was age ten as half of a whole. "Nathaniel's dead" his mother whispered harshly as she pulled him onto the plane away from Baltimore, away from his nightmares. Of course, not everything in Baltimore had been a nightmare, because there had also been Nathaniel. Nathaniel who had been willing to take their father's punishments so Noah wouldn't have to, who would make up stories as they laid side by side in bed, whose smile would make any similarities to their father's face fade. But now, when Nathaniel's face is plastered across the Exy magazines, Noah has never been more aware of what his relative freedom has truly cost. His brother's eyes glint with a barely contained bitterness, but he's alive and now Noah will do just about anything to get his brother back.
Alternating perspectives and timelines. So many OCs (Ravens, Hatfords and Vixens). Conversations on names and their connection to identity. Melodramatic and self-indulgent as hell. Andriel endgame but no interaction between them at all until chapter 6 so felt wrong to tag them.

As long as she was safe and the Doors disappeared, he could die knowing he’d done something right.” (HoH pg. 467)
A collection of scenes covering the potential scenario where only Annabeth made it out of Tartarus. This will obviously be slightly darker than canon as there’s a lot of survivor’s guilt to work through. Both sides of the war will need to shift strategies in Percy’s absence.

This series was life changing. I found it when I was at a low point. I was drowning in shoulder devils and didn’t know how to cope. Sometimes you just need to use the lessons your favorite characters are getting in therapy until you’re able to find yours. I read the chapters of Star light star bright sitting in my therapists parking lot as they were published. I found joy where I previously only had darkness
So yes I panicked when I realized I hadn’t bookmarked the series.

"No need to thank me for not being Hera," Amphitrite dismissed. Percy took a sip of tea. "That is what you meant, isn't it?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. For once, Percy learned from his mistakes and stayed quiet, though he did give her a bashful smile to confirm the sentiment. "Hm. Well, either way, I owe you thanks. Not many children would agree to spy on their father for me."
Percy put the cup down. "I'm not spying on him," he reasoned. Amphitrite scoffed. "I just happen to be in many of the places he is when he's in the mortal world." A long pause followed, and Percy rolled his eyes. "Yes, he was seeing a mortal woman. Her name is Lea."
"You owe me twenty of your mortal dollars, child."
Percy bitterly slapped the paper bill on the table between them.
