Summary
Five and a half years ago, Jayce promised Viktor he would do anything to save his life. A year later, Jayce broke his promise, and subsequently lost his mind.
Now, as the sole owner and employee at the Talis Mortuary, he is eight days into a body drought; restless, with no one and nothing really to distract him. In the quiet, his mind shows him things that can't—shouldn't—exist.

Then, when all hope seemed lost…
Short curly brown hair, tussled cutely and two moles on his pale face contrasting soft pink lips and warm golden eyes looking at him with concern and curiosity. A blue red hood, and a softly glowing teardrop crystal earring on one side, and a wooden staff with a similar sapphire blue stone entwined on top.
The scent grew more complex, the lavender and sweetmilk giving way to an undercurrent of magic that tasted like fresh lightning, and the musky familiar tones of an omega.

Summary

Summary
Here, and now, the two of them wander languidly through one of Piltover’s few late-night food markets, mostly set up to serve a population of students whose sleep schedule has been shifted a few hours to the left. They eat with legs tangled under the table, they walk back to Viktor’s home with fingers intertwined. They murmur amongst themselves about what to do, what to study.
Or: Guilt is a terrible, horrible thing, but at least they have each other.

Summary
Despite being from a fallen house - House Talis, Jayce receives an invitation to the Royal Ball where the Crown Prince will be selecting a husband or wife, and he cannot afford to decline the invitation.
Jayce finds himself captivated by the man he meets in one of the back rooms, and then dances with in front of all the court - only to find out he is the Crown Prince himself, and runs away.
Viktor, having found the heir of the Talis house - long thought dead, will not be letting him go without a fight.
