Ben Kenobi is used to seeing things among the shifting sands of Tatooine. Even things that aren’t there.
Pools of water when he’s thirsty. Verdant fields when hunger gnaws at him. More recently, the Force ghost of one Qui-Gon Jinn.
But somehow, those illusions haven’t prepared him from looking up from fiddling with Rooh’s harness and seeing Commander Cody standing across from him and his eopie.

Summary
When Obi-Wan Kenobi is called on to complete an undercover mission to discover Separatist involvement on a neutral resort planet, Cody volunteers to help him—not realizing that the planet is exclusively designed for romantic partners. Never one to back down from a mission, both Obi-Wan and Cody agree to pose as a couple for as long as it takes to uncover the Separatists' plans for the planet.
There are... several problems with this. Cody has never even kissed another person before, let alone been in a romantic relationship—posing as his General's husband will somehow be easy, hard, and impossible all at the same time.
For the Republic, right?
