Summary
"Old West" Aziraphale and Crowley stumble across a triceratops in the jungle. Rodeo cowboy instincts overthrow Crowley's resistance to ride anything that's remotely horse-shape.
This is a fun little exercise in script writing I bashed out for Obliquity's Collaborative Writing Workshop at Ineffable Con 6. The prompt was something like "Dinosaurs and Cowboys in a Jumanji setting."
Chapter two is a rewrite with plain English, just in case my depiction of a kid's understanding of cowboy dialect is a garbled mess.

Summary
Crowley shows up at the bookshop for lunch with Aziraphale still dressed in the disguise he used on his last assignment. The intriguing change in clothing and accent, along with a mysterious violin case, forces Aziraphale to remind himself that he shouldn't be feeling these sorts of urges toward a demon. Then, Crowley plays an old love song and Aziraphale loses his inner battle.
Chapter 1 is barely Mature. Chapter 2 is Explicit.

During a time of uneasy peace between Valdemar and Karse, the Sunpriest Hastur arrives in Haven as the new ambassador. One of his Attendants, Crowley, falls in love with the most important Herald of the land: Monarch's Own, Aziraphale.
How will Crowley and Aziraphale navigate their newfound love within this unsteady political climate? And, is the Karsite ambassador acting in good faith? Or, will Hastur betray both Crowley and the Kingdom of Valdemar?
Context for those not familiar with the fictional land of Valdemar: European-ish feudal society with a capital city of Haven. Is on-again-off-again at war with an ultra-religious country called Karse. Important magic users, called "Heralds", bond with human-level-intelligent magical beings that look like horses. These "Companions" choose which Herald they bond with and often enhance the Herald's innate powers.

Out of a desire to help the young woman who works in the village grocery, Aziraphale sets up a double date picnic. But, past emotional trauma makes it difficult for him to show his affection for Crowley in public. His desire to overcome this leads him to ask Crowley a Very Big Question.

Takes place during the timeframe of Insomnia. Contains references to the events in it, but can be read alone and still understood.
