The mirror in Sylvie's new apartment is odd. She feels a presence just behind her reflection when she passes, one that watches her when she's alone in bed. Unexplained events inspire her to discover its origin, leading her to discovering her own instead.

Then he seems to understand. His eyes narrow suspiciously and he opens his mouth to speak —
She interrupts, "You're not going to hurt me."
