Summary
Jamaica, the late 1600s: Castiel Milton is the son of a wealthy plantation owner. He is also a profound disappointment to his father, who has disinherited him in favor of his younger brother. Now, only one responsibility remains for Castiel: make an advantageous marriage to carry on the Milton name.
Castiel’s life changes forever the day he discovers that Dean Winchester, a long-lost childhood friend, is now a notorious pirate. Castiel conceives of a desperate plan that he hopes will prevent an arranged marriage he doesn't want. But when he meets Dean again, he's far from prepared for the passion — and adventure — that will ensue.

Summary
Dean Winchester has everything he was supposed to want: a peaceful home in a small town close to his little brother, and his own veterinary practice, just like his mom hoped. But life in Angel’s Rest isn’t quite what Dean imagined. He’s lonely, and he has no way to relieve the pressures of day-to-day life.
A chance meeting with a rude sheep named Meg leads Dean to Castiel, the owner of Blazing Needles, the town’s independent yarn and craft store. The connection between them is instant, and it seems like Castiel could be everything that Dean needs. He’s just got to work out how to make that leap...
A safe, sane, and consensual tale of comedic animal encounters, little white lies, and waiting for the right (wrong) moment.

Summary
Castiel's spent most of his adult life keeping his head down and staying out of trouble. This is a deliberate choice on his part, because as a cousin of the King, he'd rather stay unimportant and forgotten. This changes abruptly when King Michael decides that he has a better use for Castiel: he is to be wed to a noble member of the neighboring Republic, as part of an agreement between their two nations.
Castiel knows he has to obey, but that doesn't mean he won't rebel in what small ways he can. Unexpectedly, his actions end up having far-reaching consequences.

Summary
Dean doesn’t care if Castiel is the most powerful storm-mage ever seen. They’ve known each other since they were kids. They slept with Sam in a pile against the eldritch storms that turn people black-eyed and mean, or burn whole villages to the ground with scarlet lightning. He was there when Cas’s powers Awoke; he was there when Cas got adopted by the Archmagus of the Magisterium. He’s been there to hold Cas when the nightmares are so bad that Cas’s silver-blue aura goes dark and stained.
It doesn’t matter that Castiel’s going on this insane quest to challenge the Dark God, Dean’s still his best friend and his Sentinel. If Cas is gonna go do something fucking stupid, well… Dean’s going to be right there doing something fucking stupid alongside him.
It’d be nice if Dean weren’t in love with the asshole, though.

Summary
Dean can’t help it. Castiel’s laugh is infectious, washing over him and sweeping him up in its tide. His throat and stomach ache with the feel of it, unfamiliar muscles worked past their endurance. He hasn’t laughed like this in weeks, maybe years.
Cas doesn’t stop laughing, and Dean relishes it. It’s such a good sound, deep and throaty. It rumbles over him the same way that Baby’s engine purrs, to where he can almost feel it in his gut. Dean’s giddy, the kind of happy that hunters don’t get to feel, and if it weren’t for the ceiling, he thinks he might float away. Cas’ eyes crinkle when he laughs, and his smile goes wide and gummy. He’s so brilliant, so alive—
But you’re dead, Dean thinks helplessly. But you’re dead.
---
Castiel Novak is one of the best hunters Dean Winchester has ever worked with. He's witty, whip-smart, and has enough knowledge about the supernatural to rival an encyclopedia. He's got humor dry enough to put the Sahara to shame and he's pretty easy on the eyes as well. All in all, he's the best partner Dean could have hoped for.
Too bad he's dead.
