“You have been blessed by the Moon Spirit," Zuko continued. "We worship the Moon Spirit. Is it starting to make sense?"
“Worship is a strong word, Zuko. I prefer communes with.” Aang interjected.
“Your dopey Air Nomad bullshit.” Jet snapped.
“No.” Katara bit back. “The Water Tribes worship the Moon Spirit. The other nations worship the moon, but only the Water Tribes worship the Moon Spirit. We’re the only ones she listens to.”
“We are very important to the Moon Spirit!” Jet barked. “And she listens to us.”
Katara cackled. “You expect me to believe that the Moon Spirit listens to three random-ass men from outside the Water Tribes. You know, I’ve been through a lot in this past year, but that's the most unbelievable thing someone's told me.”
Jet got close to Katara’s face. “The Moon Spirit visits us every full moon. She gives us a mission, and if we complete it, she rewards us. Has the Moon Spirit ever visited you? You think she has, but you don't even know what she looks like, what she tastes like-” Aang grabbed Jet by the collar and pulled him away from Katara.
“That’s enough, Jet! Yelling at her like that won't make her trust you. Or like you.”

She suddenly got the urge to trace his arrow, putting her palm above his eyebrows and using her thumb to feel the blue skin. Aang didn't flinch, but his heart fluttered as he wondered what she was thinking. Her eyes were full of curiosity, the blue hues reflecting the candlelight in the room. You could hear a pin drop.
