Getting sick was one of Pure Vanilla’s greatest fears.
It wasn’t because of the mandatory seclusion, or the stuffy nose, or the aching throat, but the fact that he was expected to eat.
He was a healer, he obviously knew it was the best choice, because it would aid recovery and make you feel better faster.
...
From a single freshly plucked fruit, to a thick-cut steak, both would push him to bend over his sink and puke up every last chunk that had entered his stomach.
But, of course, knowing this about himself, what fate did the universe end up bestowing upon him?

Summary
Pure Vanilla isn't a liar, but there are some things he'd rather not admit to himself. Like the fact that he is running away; from the guilt of not doing the right thing, from the uncertainty of not knowing what the right thing even is.
It's convenient for him that the life of a Vampire Hunter is busy enough that he doesn't have to think about his failings very often.
Shadow Milk is bored. Immortal life loses its charm once you've done and seen everything.
He's about to be very entertained.

Summary
Shadow Milk returns from an unsuccessful hunt, dreading the conversation he must have with Pure Vanilla.
Despite their arrangement that he would primarily feed on forest animals, he finds himself needing more.
What he doesn't expect is Pure Vanilla's calm acceptance of his request—or how the ancient's willing offering of blood will affect him far more deeply than he could have imagined.

Summary
Shadow Milk showed more and more clingy tendencies, as if the dam finally broke and the touch-starved beast couldn't help but to soak up Pure Vanilla's warmth as much as he discreetly could. Pure Vanilla knew it to be a sign of trust.
And as their bond kept deepening and vulnerabilities were steadily unfurled, Pure Vanilla noticed strange behaviours from Shadow Milk Cookie.
Or 5 times Pure Vanilla noticed strange behaviours from the supposedly predator hybrid and 1 time he figured out why.

Summary
In which Sage’s 'entirely ordinary' friend has the unfortunate pleasure of finding him critically injured and bleeding out on a train. Not by any fault of Sage’s own, he must add! He- oh, well… mayhapes it is just slightly his own fault. But not to worry! He is not dead, uh, well. He is fairly certain, anyway. But his teeth hurt, and he suddenly finds normal food incredibly unappealing.
How strange! As strange as his gracious, if oddly waxen, and apparently universally red-eyed hosts.
Aka. Sage gets turned into a vampire, because if I work on what I am supposed to be working on I might just keel over and die. No really, this fic gets longer by the minute.
