Summary
How many years of poisoning himself led the this moment? Years of struggling, hiding it all with a smile and popping a pill of some sort. Enjoying the floating feeling until he crashed to the ground with a deep aching in his chest. The time travelling, losing his loved one, what led to it all. So many harsh words, cutting his heart to pieces as he drowned it all in the poison he swallowed. He just wanted to be with the one he loved so bad. Staying with his family who didn't even notice when he was kidnapped, was it even worth it?
Sobriety was it really overrated? It left him in his thoughts, struggling to cope. All he wanted was to see him again, staying sober was not easy with his brain.Series

So, Eddie made the wrong choice. The remains of the Life Foundation had him forced into silence, he still had no job and no future, and now there was an alien up his ass to worry about, too. He was trying to pick up the pieces of his life but found them all slipping through his hands. Still, how bad could it get?
Turns out, pretty damn bad.

Summary
Normalcy was all John wanted when he moved back into 221B Baker Street after his wife’s disappearance two months ago. However, normal is not a word that he would use in relation to Sherlock Holmes. With Sherlock’s recent relapse and John’s increasingly complex feelings about his flatmate, the pair was anxious for anything to distract them.
When a case suddenly appears, they eagerly dive into the seeming normalcy of finding clues and putting the pieces together, just the two of them against the world. But The Work forced them into a university art course; John sees a new side of Sherlock - one that exposed more than he was prepared for (anticipated? Ever imagined?). As the case grows darker, both men find themselves barreling headfirst toward the unknown...

I love how true this fic is to the writing of the show; I can visualise the characters in my head vividly and the story is overall smooth and enjoyable to read. :)
