In SilverQuil, rank is everything. The pack is filled with traditionalist wolves who hold tight to pack hierarchy - Alphas at the top with Betas second in rank and Omegas holding little to no power. Alphas, of course, hold the most power as the protectors of the pack. They are the hunters, the patrollers, and the homes of unmated Alphas are located around the perimeter of the clearing they live in. Betas are a step-down, making up most of the cooks and healers. Meanwhile, the Omegas are mainly in charge of cleaning, gardening, and caring for the pups all while having no vote on pack matters.
Jihoon hates it.

If he’s hearing Hansol’s voice, he must still be half-asleep. Or dead. One of the two. The only time he’s heard Hansol’s voice in the past few months has been in his dreams. He almost thought he was forgetting the cadence of it.
His vision shifts, sticking to recognizable objects. He's in the back of a car. It’s late afternoon. Hansol has no hair. Hansol is looking at him with a crease between his brows, mouth set into a serious line. He has a scar on his cheek that didn’t used to be there.
Seungkwan still doesn’t know what to make of it. Hansol shouldn’t be here. He should be dead, or long gone. Packed up with his brother and headed south. Not near the city.
“Am I dead?” Seungkwan asks. His tongue feels too big in his mouth. He swallows, but his mouth is too dry.
Hansol releases his hold on Seungkwan’s arms. He frowns. “Not yet.”
(OR: Amidst the end of the world, exes Chwe Hansol and Boo Seungkwan are forced to rely on each other for survival.)

Wonwoo gets dragged to go to an escape room with his best friend Mingyu. He’s in there mostly for the bet they made between themselves, mostly to prove that he does in fact have a higher mental capacity for thinking and solving amateur puzzles. After all, Mingyu booked an entry level room just so they could time how fast they could bust out.
And so, it came as no surprise when they’d hit their first stumbling block that he refused to call for help. No, his pride wouldn’t let him. But of course Mingyu broke the damn puzzle mechanism…
That was when Wonwoo first laid his eyes on the pretty escape room part-timer. After that, you could count on Wonwoo to think of any and every excuse just to call for help.
