“I don’t have much to hide,” Minho says. “And I’ve always wanted to try this wine.”
Brow still crinkled, Chan continues to stare at Minho. “Who are you?”
“I’m Lee Minho.” He says this with the most deadpan voice he can muster.
Chan snorts. “You know, I asked around about you.”
“Like actually asked around? You didn’t just go on Naver?”
“Naver? What’s—” Chan shakes his head. “Never mind that. They said that you run the best magic shop in the city, that you’re smart and reliable, but that you’re also hard to predict.”
“We also ship worldwide,” Minho adds.

Then something even stranger happened. The walker wasn’t trying to attack. Its eyes darted to San’s hand, focusing on the can he held. San, his curiosity piqued, shook the can of beans gently. The walker’s eyes lit up like a puppy’s, wide and fixated on the food.
San blinked, unable to process the sight. A walker... that wants food? Not human flesh, but actual food? He glanced at Seonghwa, who looked just as bewildered but also slightly fascinated.
"Hyung..." San whispered, still holding the can tightly. “I don’t think it wants to bite us.”
The walker’s eyes flickered, and to their absolute shock, it spoke. “F-food,” it said in a low, raspy voice. Its mouth struggled to form the word, but it repeated it again. “F-food.”
Both San and Seonghwa froze. Walkers didn’t speak. They couldn’t speak. They were dead. Or... so they had always thought.
San's heart raced as he exchanged a wide-eyed look with Seonghwa. This wasn’t just any walker. This one could talk—or at least, it could communicate. And it didn’t want to kill them. It wanted food, like a living, breathing person.
San’s mind was spinning. What the hell is this?

He breathes out through his nose and puts on a fake smile that he’s certain doesn’t even look close to sincere, but with the unnecessary comment the other man made, Hyunjin supposes a fake smile was still much better than what the latter could do.
“Hi Minho-ssi, Jisung has said plenty about you,” He glances over at Jisung who seems to watch them with wide eyes, uncertainty swimming in them as if the first 10 seconds of them meeting is already way off the scenario he had planned in his head.
Hyunjin finally gets to meet his boyfriend's other boyfriend. Jisung's happy, so Hyunjin's happy, so what more could he want... except Minho doesn't seem to share the same sentiment.

"You know I don't listen when you talk about food," Minho murmured, concentrating on the task at hand. Finished chopping the garlic, he quickly added it to the large pan that was already filled to bursting with little neck clams. He topped it off with some white wine and then turned to Changbin. The pasta was already simmering away in its own pot on the stove. “All we gotta do now is wait,” he said, crossing his arms over himself.
And then he looked over at Changbin and did the weirdest thing yet: he smiled. It was awkward and fleeting, but Changbin had seen it. Changbin could probably count on one hand how many times Minho had smiled at him that didn’t involve a camera in their faces or a joke being cracked, and he couldn’t deny the effect it had on him, that it had him smiling back.
Minho's smile dropped immediately into a scowl. “Ew, what is your face doing? Stop it or it’s gonna get stuck that way.”
