Yeonjun is giving mixed signals; he knows. But who cares if Soobin is jealous, right? They had sex once, and that was it. He’s not hiding his promiscuity, and the fact that he’s trying to get Soobin’s hand on his stupid dick again, but his head still spins when Soobin’s reply lands: Do you want me to?
Does Yeonjun want him to? He’s afraid to find out the answer. Yeonjun stares at the screen and muses on a coherent reply, but he’ll soon forget, because Soobin sends an attachment. It’s a meme of a cat biting the hand of a guy playing video games. GIVE ME ATTENTION, the text underneath the meme reads, in a bold, thin San-serif font. You, Soobin says. Yeonjun is trying very hard not to smile.

Taehyung hums his affirmation, making Jungkook finally look at him. His eyes are unreadable, even to him. They search over Taehyung’s face before Jungkook’s full body turns and they’re a breath apart.
“Why?”
“It’s a good union,” Taehyung explains simply. “Good for my family and yours. For you and I specifically.”

Every time Soobin has his eyes on him, Yeonjun feels like he’s made out of a thin, opalescent glass. Completely fucking transparent. The waves crash behind them, in and out, whoops and hollers of rowdy youth, the heat radiating off the fire, suffocating. Soobin’s eyes look right through him.
He can feel his heartbeat, strong and fast against his ribcage.
Another lollipop.
A moment of silence, and then, “What flavor?”
He watches the flames lick up the logs in the pit, slowly eating away at their casing.
