Oda started every morning like this, going to his local coffee shop and getting a vanilla bean latte, and sitting down before heading to work to look over papers that he needed to make sure were done.
If anyone where to look at him, he almost seemed to be a normal man, in his late 20s, just living his life.. But that was the marvel of outsiders looking in. Because if they knew what when on inside of his head, they would think he was insane. And for the longest time Oda thought he had been insane as well, because what normal person has two sets of memories? Memories from his current life, and from a past life. It almost sounded like a ridiculous story line from a novel.

Set in modern times. Kravitz is a workaholic single dad who marks sleep on a calendar. Taako is a famous TV chef stumbling into parenting an orphan. They make each other pause.

No series context needed. This AU is self-contained with only blink-and-you'll-miss-it references to previous content.
