The cup in his hands has Phainon’s name on it. Espresso, java chip, shaved ice and hazelnut syrup. Probably sickeningly sweet, but Mydei can (begrudgingly) admit it probably tastes good. He doesn’t drink coffee, so he isn’t very familiar with the beverage, but Castorice drinks cortados a lot, and Anaxa downs espresso shots like they’re water.
“Order for Phainon,” he calls a moment later, and watches that light blue head bound up to the counter.
“That’s me,” Phainon beams. “Thanks! The art is really pretty!”
Mydei watches him head off with a smile and a wave.-
