Toby sighed, continuing on his way into the forest. He slammed the doors shut behind him, not caring about the noise he made. He was pissed off now. Whether from the bad dream or early hours or just his situation in general didn’t matter.

He could always just fake being hurt so Jack would have to take care of him and Slenderman couldn’t send him away on another mission immediately! Toby grinned, he didn’t actually have to hurt himself, he could even reuse some of the blood that hadn’t dried up!
In retrospect, that sounded far more morbid than he meant it to.

He didn’t know how long he had been running, he just knew that it was dark. And freezing.
It was winter now, when did this train wreck start? Void, he couldn’t remember. Vlador’s winters were, clearly, quite unforgiving, snow was slowly starting to pile up on the ground. Grian’s boots dug into the thick snow, he just kept running, refusing to look back. He’d never forgive himself if he had made it this far and got caught.

Grian runs from Sam and Taurtis but passes out in a snow filled plain, just as he's about to succumb to hypothermia, someone saves him.
