Summary
Huo Daofu had known Wu Xie back in Germany when they were both longing to be as far from their families as possible. Naturally, they understood one another, both being from a Clan within the Mystic Nine. Both of them recognized the type of bullshit they had to grow up with. So, Huo Daofu felt Wu Xie would understand when he said he no longer wanted to be dragged into Jiumen affairs.
Then the war started. Wu Xie against most of the Jiumen. Against the entirety of the Wang Clan. All over some crush, or so he'd heard.
Thankfully, he'd drawn his line in the sand long ago. Refused to be dragged into the troubles and had made his stance clear. If only someone had reminded Wu Xie of this fact... instead, Huo Daofu was hauled off to, who knows where to patch the idiot back up.
It was frustrating, to say the least - and if Wu Xie didn't die from his suicidal tendencies, Huo Daofu might just kill him.

At this point, Liu Sang wasn‘t sure whether or not he should be grateful for Kan Jian or wring his neck. When the other had asked him whether he‘d be available for some tomb exploration for about a week, he hadn‘t thought much of it. But really, couldn't he have warned him at least a little that the expedition was lead by Zhang Rishan, rather than Wu Xie and the rest of the Iron Triangle?!
