Summary
From the day he dies, Louis watches Owen's life continue to play out, up until Owen joins him-up to the point where Owen should have joined him. But he didn't - he gets pulled down, and this is not the good ending. They go back to the beginning, and this repeat, Louis and Legs are determined to make sure everything changes.
Alternatively: Legs and Louis speedrun giving Owen therapy and making sure Oakhurst gets a good ending.

Martin is going to wake up soon.
Any moment now, he will open his eyes and be greeted by the hazy low-light outline of the stained navy-and-star lampshade that has migrated from his childhood bedroom to his Stockwell flat. There will be a patch of damp beside it, and Jane Prentiss will be knocking on the door, and the sleep deprivation and hysteria caused by that recurrent fact will be the reason for the strange and vivid dreams he will be waking from.
Martin is going to wake up soon, because there is absolutely no way that he is sharing a sofa, and sharing a blanket, and sharing the last of a family bag of Magic Stars from the service station, in rural Scotland, with a sock-footed Jonathan Sims, who looks so soft, and so nervous, and there is absolutely no way, no possible way in the whole world, that he, and sock-footed Jonathan Sims, are preparing to have a conversation about relationship boundaries.

Summary
Martin looks at the messages, jaw dropped to the floor. Tim seems to notice and tilts his head, eyes narrowed in a sort of dull curiosity.
"Uhh Martin.. What's with that look?"
Martin doesn't say anything, and eventually Tim gets up to see for himself. He sucks in a breathe after seeing the message, more specifically the sender.
"There's no fucking way."
"He didn't mean to send that to me."
"Yeah no shit. Do you think he realizes-?"
Or
Shortly after the end of season 2/start of season 3, Martin gets a text from Jon that was clearly not meant for him. An extremely akward conversation ensues.

“Okay,” he nods carefully. “I’m going to play… not quite devil’s advocate, but maybe like… mildly argumentative trickster elf’s advocate here for a minute, and I don’t want you to hear it as invalidating your conclusion or anything, I’m not, I’m just raising, in the service of understanding, that… clothes and hair and presentation and stuff… and gender… they aren’t the same thing -”
Jon snorts.
“Paging Dr Johnson,” he mumbles, “With important insights for his dictionary project.”
Martin flicks his ear.
“Yes, alright, prick, but you know it’s true. There’s a difference between liking wearing roomier clothes and you know… gender stuff.”
Jon nods slowly.
Then he drags his top teeth across the curve of his bottom lip, and winces cautiously. The nodding becomes a shake of the head, as Martin had predicted it might.
“No, I… I’m pretty sure it is… gender stuff. Actually.”
He removes his hand from Martin’s and buries his face in his hands to groan.
