Summary
After the Tuna Melt Incident, Shane and Ilya gradually started drifting apart. Texts became more scarce, hook-ups less frequent and feelings pushed aside until, in the moment of absolute panic, Shane ghosted Ilya fully.
Now, three years later, Shane Hollander and Rose Landry are engaged. Shane's life finally seems to be going in the right direction. No distractions, great girl, lots of hockey.
And then the new season starts and trades between teams happen.
And Ilya Rozanov, whom Shane promised himself to forget, is suddenly on the same team.
And, worst of all, he becomes the Alternate Captain. -

Summary
What if the hit Shane takes on the ice ends in something far more serious than just broken collarbone and Shane high as a kite? What if his heart stopped and in the heat of the moment, Ilya outed them as "boyfriends" in front of the whole arena? And what if Shane falls into a coma?
***
Ilya wants to scream. To claw his way down the hallway. To grab the nearest doctor by the collar and shake answers out of them. To punch a wall until his knuckles break. To rip out his own heart and shove it into Shane’s chest:
Here. Use mine. Mine seems determined to keep beating through this, might as well make itself useful.

Summary
Shane and Ilya talk summer, traditions, love and religion. Fluff ensues.
***
“In my worst times,” Ilya went on, voice quieter now, “After games I would go sit in church sometimes. Late, when no one was there. Just me and saints looking at me with these big eyes.” He huffed a breath at himself. “I did not know what to say, so I just… sat. Sometimes I would say, ‘Okay, if someone is up there, if there is anything, I need help. I need something that is not pain all the time.’” He looked at Shane then, eyes very green in the low light. “And then, some time later, there was you.”
Shane’s throat went tight. “You think… God sent you a horny Canadian hockey rival?”

Summary
Ilya is recovering after the brain surgery but recovery rerely is a straight line. And Ilya, done with hospitals, is up to mischief. Fortunately, Shane is there to make sure Ilya stays alive.
***
This is set between "Hold On (I Still Want You)" and "Come Back (I Still Need You)" and focuses on Ilya's recovery after the brain surgery he underwent. It can be read as stand-alone but I think it's probably best to read at least first part of my series to get some context!

Summary
After the miracle recovery, Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander are back together. One day, Shane gets a phonecall from Ilya's doctor. She asks Shane to come in immediately, alone. He is scared shitless.
Turns out, there is no need to be because Captain Rozanov is clearly back in the game. And he can skate again.
***
This is a part of my on-going "Hold On (I Still Want You)" series and cannot really be read as stand-alone, therefore I strongly recommend getting the context from the first fic!

Summary
“You’re really quite rude, aren’t you?” He wanted it to sound teasing, charming; it came out a lot colder than that.
Victor tipped his glass, and finished it. With a graceful gesture, he asked the bartender for another one. “So I’ve heard,” he said. “Begs the question as to why you’re still talking to me.”
Oh believe me, I will soon make you stop talking.
“Maybe I just think you’re pretty,” Eli replied. It was, in part, an attempt at regaining control of the situation, of making his cover believable — lust made people allow all kinds of bad manners, or so Eli had heard — but he was also curious to see how Victor would react.
The man's lips stretched in a smile that could only be described as dangerous. “Now that, I can believe,” he said, the flirtation like the edge of a knife. “But I don’t think you’re the type to care much for pretty things.”
AU: Victor Vale is in the business of pain relief. Eli Ever is in the business of killing EOs. Tonight, specifically, he's quite intent on killing Victor.
