OR
Juan witnessing Katie having a not so good morning practically getting herself kidnapped for some unknown reason, leading him with no other choice but to round up a few familiar faces.

What happens when a bird never gets the chance to stretch its wings and fly?
Life as Katie had always known it was the Regime.
It was a cage.
Katie was so grateful, Ash had rescued her, but she didn't remember what from.
She was in his debt.
But... if a bird gets a taste of freedom she might not look back, she may become blinded and refuse to heed to others warnings.
She might fly too close to the sun.

Summary
She blinks, hesitant and unsure. There are tired lines under her eyes, and in the moody light of his reactor, she looks so much more tired than he previously noticed. She smiles, drawn and familiarly weak, “I should get home. I have… big plans tomorrow, businesswoman, and all!” She tries for enthusiasm and falls just short.
Multi’s heart sinks in his chest, and for some reason, a part of him worries that if he lets her walk away now, it will be the last time he sees her. It’s unrealistic, and certainly an unfounded feeling, but it gives him pause. Enough so that he doubles down, “Or, you could stay.” He insists, stepping closer so he has to crane his neck a little to meet her eyes, “Please stay?” He pleads, one last attempt.
