It’s spring of ‘79 and The Long Walk is in full swing. But when Hank Olson starts telling Garraty about some rather morbid facts from the first long walk, it brings up a ghostly reminder.

Dunk can't lie. But he can't tell the truth. He's just arrived in this new place. He's just improved his status, he's finally found something more than nights spent in the cold under a tree and overcooked fish for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
But he's also holding something so beautiful and fragile in his hands for the first time. Something that desires him so much that it can't contain its own animalistic urges.
Dunk is given the opportunity to be Daeron's knight for a time, before he begins teaching Aegon. The prince shows him a part of the castle and how to get to his room.

“Brothers take care of each other, don’t they? How many times have I had to wash your hair as children, because you couldn’t be bothered to do it?” Baelor counters, standing up and going over to the wooden tub in the room.
“That was different.”
“How so?”
Maekar doesn’t know how to respond. What difference does age make? They are brothers after all, and they’ve tended to each other multiple times after sparring sessions or actual battles. Is it really all that different to wash his older brother’s hair at their age?
“Fine, but you will not speak of this to anyone,” and with that Maekar yields from the silly argument, and walks over to where his brother is.
OR: Baelor has found a method to lighten his hair, and asks Maekar to wash it for him.
