Summary
"So Woods, do we have a deal?", Clarke looked at her expectantly.
Lexa stared at her, still increduolus. The cheerleader, who never once spoke to her before, was now asking her to be her fake girlfriend in order to make their cheating exes jealous. All of it, after the whole school got aware of her existence because she gave them the free show of punching Collins in the cafeteria. Just when she thought her life couldn't be more messed up.
"Do you really want him back?", she asked instead.
"My reasons are my own. Do you really want her back?". Determined blue eyes were fixed on Lexa's face.
"Do you really think anyone's going to believe that me and you can stand each other, let alone date?"
Clarke extended her hand: "There's just one way to find out".

Summary
“Alicent this is—” Harrold starts to introduce but the woman is already standing up, reaching out a hand to shake Alicent’s.
“Special Agent Rhaenyra Targaryen,” the woman—Rhaenyra, what a ridiculous name—introduces. Her hand hovers in the air between them, the stale air of the office coming to a standstill. The only movement is the snow falling softly over the New Haven headquarters. Alicent hates December. Though, the sticky heat of summer is an enemy to her now as the build of sweat on the nape of her neck now only reminds her of one thing—one night. Images flicker in her mind—angel wings made of flesh, words penned in blood. She shudders.
Special Agent Alicent Hightower is trying to catch a serial killer. When her previous partner is killed in the hunt, she finds herself stuck with one Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Summary
you do not have to be good,
you do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
you only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.Alicent Hightower has a broken knee (it's fine) and an attitude problem. Rhaenyra Targaryen is further west than she knows how to be and she needs work, something to help her leave behind all thoughts of a dead father and a rodeo she used to love. Then, she gets hired by an aging rancher named Otto Hightower.

Summary
Alicent holds her eye contact for a moment longer and follows with “You didn’t tell me you were going to cut it”. Again with the haircut. She shifts her focus with the shirt in her hands.
“Didn’t know I was. Just woke up one morning and got sick of myself,” Rhaenyra replied, “You should try being spontaneous,” she said after a beat. “It suits you.”
“I am spontaneous,” Alicent said, sitting up indignantly.
“You schedule your spontaneity.”

Summary
Rhaenyra schools her expression and dons a dangerous glint in her eye, “it will be fun to inject some life into her sets—won’t be passionless with me around.”
Calling Alicent’s music passionless is a stretch, considering she’s put house music on the map again, with millions of listeners on streaming platforms and a recent grammy nomination.
The interviewer adjusts his glasses, a sort of uneasy expression on his features, “if I didn’t know better, I’d think you’d heard her interview where she called your new album-“
“Barbaric?” She barks a laugh almost scarily, “yes I did.” Rhaenyra leans back, licks her lips and looks at the camera like she’s addressing someone directly. “Oh Alicent. Always so tidy, aren’t we? God forbid the bass wobble—I prefer to make a bit of a mess.”
After 5 years away from the London DJ scene to be a producer in L.A., Rhaenyra Targaryen returns to the festival circuit. Just as she’s getting settled back in, she’s chosen to co-headline one of the largest festivals in America with none other than Alicent Hightower, one of the world’s biggest names in House music and her ex best friend.
