Rui hurriedly moved to pack up his things backstage as he heard the sound of distant thunder. During their practice, they could tell by the incoming dark clouds and harsh winds that a storm was on its way. That was why they decided to wrap up a little early, with Rui telling the others to go on and head home. He could handle packing up and tidying everything, he didn’t want the others to get caught in the rain. What he didn’t expect was for Tsukasa to also volunteer to stay behind.
Rui had been a little wary around Tsukasa these past few days. For whatever reason, he noticed that he’d begun behaving strangely around him. He always appeared a little frantic and nervous, stumbling over his words and only half-listening to conversations. It was completely unlike the future star to act this way. It caused Rui more anxiety than he’d like to admit.
He hadn’t been too obvious, had he?
