A/N: there’s some switching between past tense and future tense throughout the fic (i wanted to simultaneously narrate how everything in the dream *would* happen in sequence, while also showing that these scenarios have happened before in the past, due to the dream being reoccurring). i don’t know how well that will translate - or if it’s even grammatically correct - but i hope it makes sense ^^;
