Summary
There were three rules that were established when Scott moved in with Wallace.
1. Scott is not allowed in the kitchen until his ability to cook without making a mess was proven.
2. If Scott makes a mess, he’s to clean it up. (This rule was clearly not heavily enforced).
3. The second drawer in Wallace’s nightstand was strictly off-limits.This list was pinned smack-dab in the middle of the bulletin board hanging in their entryway. The third rule was emphasized with yellow highlighting scribbled over the words and obnoxious red arrows pointing towards it. Scott had asked about it before, but never again, as Wallace had just leveled him with narrowed eyes and a grim expression. The supposed severity of this third rule had only succeeded in fueling his curiosity, now kindling uncomfortably in the pit of his stomach.

Summary
From the moment Wallace had met Scott Pilgrim, he’d immediately clocked him as, at the very least, bi-curious. For all of Wallace’s flaws, he knew he at least had a good gaydar, so there was no way he was wrong about his assumption. This was unfamiliar territory, however. While he considered himself particularly skilled at getting into the pants of whatever guy he’d laid his eyes on, he’d never really felt this kind of desire for a popular music performer that was actually within his reach. He wasn’t sure if it was unprofessional to pursue something considering his position.
It’s not like Wallace just wanted a one-and-done fling either. Over these past few months he had—much to his misfortune—fell for Scott Pilgrim.

Summary
He liked men, he liked fall-like weather so he could dress in sweaters without overheating, he enjoyed rainy days, and so on. One preference that was not outwardly spoken about, though, was that towards people with glasses
(And maybe his preference towards his roommate, as well).
Some may say being attracted to something so unusual was a kink, but he found that it was just as simple as an attraction towards the intelligence some people with glasses held. If a person donned a pair of spectacles, it likely meant that Wallace could have deep, philosophical conversations with them as a way to merely pass the time. Was it a little stereotypical, and perhaps misleading, to think of these individuals like this? He, personally, didn’t think so. After all, it’s proven that there is a correlation between poor vision and intelligence—he looked it up himself.
So, imagine his surprise, after compiling these rigid opinions on people who wore glasses, he sees his roommate, Scott Pilgrim, walk through the door with his own pair.

Summary
About five minutes had passed of him rereading the phone number over—the edges of the page were beginning to crease and crinkle from how hard he was gripping the notepad.
Fuck, he should just call.
So, he caved, standing up and setting the notepad by the computer as he simultaneously grabbed the landline. While humming a quick tune, he punched in the number to the company, nerves eating away at his being as he heard the dial tone.
Soon, there was a sound on the other line.

He thinks he must’ve committed some kind of horrible sin in order to deserve this fate, especially to be cursed with the wishes to hold or be held by Sakusa, because those were both such affectionate gestures—ones he wasn’t sure Sakusa was even capable of performing.
Yet, there he was, daydreaming about carding his fingers through his hair and grinning himself when he saw a smile spread across Sakusa’s face; the sight being unfairly pretty even though he hardly sees the guy without a mask. He was, to employ a hyperbole, utterly doomed

Summary
25-year-old Sakusa Kiyoomi is set to start working for his father’s successful company when he impulsively boards the first train away from the city. He ends up in coastal Onomichi, where he meets 33-year-old former pro volleyball player Miya Atsumu. Kiyoomi’s searching for something, not realizing that he might’ve just stumbled upon it by pure chance.

Summary
He looks down his nose at Atsumu, as though in this brief interaction, he has taken a full accounting of Atsumu and found him utterly wanting. It’s pretentious and arrogant and infuriating. It’s exactly what Atsumu would have done.
Atsumu’s mouth curves up in a broad grin. He feels a pulse of pleasure, the sharp prick of keen-edged interest.
“Oh,” he says quietly—so quietly that Sakusa must know that it is for his ears and his ears only. “This is gonna be fun.”

Atsumu always did like them tall and leggy, with emotional baggage and a bad personality.
