“You have done much to bring life to this palace,” the king praised, and Hao had acknowledged this humbly, with a simple bow of his head. “I owe you many favors, and I cannot begin to repay you, but I can start by doing what I can.” Foolishly, Hao’s head had begun to spin with possibilities.
And then the king had jabbed a dagger in his gut, to the hilt. “My younger son, Prince Taerae…”

Summary
They’re so close it’s almost like they’re one. Hao once told Hanbin that no one could ever touch Taerae the same way Hanbin does. Hao himself had tried, tried to imitate it, learn the ways in which Hanbin understood Taerae, but he had admitted defeat.
Hanbin tries not to get cocky about it, but it’s difficult not to, when Taerae’s crying so pretty into his ear.
Hanbin just wants Taerae to understand how pretty he is in a very, very hands on way.
