sobbing and weeping and wailing. i usually strongly dislike snape as a character, but this fic made me *grieve* him in a way i literally never have before. it's such an odd pairing (and i love that it stays so purely platonic the entire time) but it works so well??? fanfiction is wonderful because it's so interconnected, and you can see ideas and themes and tropes ripple through a fandom, which i love dearly. but when i find an entirely unique fic like this? its beautiful. wonderful. ten out of ten. if you have ever even dabbled in the harry potter fandom i beg you to read it. i actually cried. absolute tragedy that this author hasn't posted anything else yet.

Summary
Izuku was debating the merits of seeking out the new vigilante group that was on the news when he heard the list of known members. He knew those names. Specifically, he knew those because they were assigned to six of his hoodies.
He knew he should come clean. Maybe just stick to one costume, or stop being a vigilante altogether. Groups were treated much more seriously than lone entities, and he could get in serious trouble if they sent heroes after him expecting backup that didn’t exist.
A week later, he had characters designed for every hoodie he owned.
In which Izuku becomes a one-man organization, and everyone has to deal with the consequences.

Summary
When a werewolf comes out of nowhere and attacks nineteen-year old Arthur Weasley, he thinks his life is over before it's even really begun. He's wrong, of course, and now all of forty years later the Weasley family is thriving, happy, and healthy- and every one of them is a werewolf.
Things are going really well for eleven-year old Ron... except for the part where he has to get through school without anyone finding out his family's secret while simultaneously keeping his new brother alive. Easy-peasy. Right?
(Pay no mind to the one-eyed beast that seems to be lurking in the shadows- it's almost certainly nothing to worry about.)

Summary
Hitoshi isn’t devout, not like some of the soot-streaked street kids he shares sleeping spots and body heat with. Not like scarred Shouto or flinching Izuku, who both swear by Yagi, God of Perseverance and Patron of Common Heroes. Not like humming Kyouka, who dedicates every song that trips off her tongue to Yamada, God of Music and Patron of Restless Souls, to make even the most desperate of panhandling a prayer. Hitoshi has long-learned that sort of faith is for people with slightly more hope than him.
But this is shelter, and it’s shelter he desperately needs, and Hitoshi is not devout, but Hitoshi is also not stupid.
Hunted, terrified, and with no other options, Hitoshi takes shelter in a shrine. He expects less than nothing. What he receives, instead, is help.

“Are you trying to get killed, Potter?” Malfoy drawls, stalking forward. Quick as a serpent himself, he reaches out and grabs the snake just below the head. It thrashes in his grip, but is no longer able to bite anyone. “This is a poisonous snake, and I doubt anyone brought a bezoar with them.”
Harry glares. He opens his mouth, and feels the beginning the snake’s language pass his lips, and this isn’t what he wants, what’s the point of insulting Malfoy if he can’t understand him –
Malfoy’s eyes widen. He slaps his hand over Harry’s mouth, “Potter, what the hell–”

this is genuinely great, but holy hell it is SO LONG i think im gonna wait until it's finished before picking this back up again. still, it's very good and sweet, more plot-heavy than romance-heavy. i love that soulmates aren't binding in this au either, and people can meet their soulmate and still decide they would rather not date them! that's just something you don't see very often in soulmate aus and i love it :)
