“Whazup?” he mumbled, lifting his head off the pillow and blinking in the darkness.
“Shhh, it’s fine,” replied Mike’s soft voice, breaking through the stillness that had followed Will’s muffled question, “I’ve got this one. You can go back to sleep.”
Mike and Will take turns staying up with Holly, who has begun to have nightmares about the monsters in Hawkins. Things take a curiously domestic turn.

“What are these?” Will flicks through the stack of letters neatly wrapped and sealed in unsuspecting white envelopes. He looks back up at Mike. “I mean, I see what it is: letters. But why are they addressed to…”
Will reads the text on the first envelope again, as if doubting his own vision. Mike watches him, unable to speak or move. Will brushes over the card with his thumb. Gentle, soft, caring. His eyebrows twitch, a multitude of emotions flashing across his face all at once.
“You,” Mike says softly and Will’s head jumps up to meet his eyes. “Seven letters. All addressed to you.”

“Excuse me folks,” the ferris wheel operator says, “we’re experiencing some uh…technical difficulties, please remain seated and keep your hands and feet inside the cart at all times. The ride will be moving again shortly. Thank you.”
They’re stuck. Just great.
OR will and mike have been fighting for days, get invited to the carnival, and get stuck on top of a ferris wheel. yay!!!
