Mostly just the argument between him and Alma culminating in his leaving (or "leaving", I guess) but with a fair bit of plot and flashback thrown in.
Based on the deleted scene where Félix recounts that Bruno "freaked out [and] snapped like a twig" and told Abuela that he "wished he was dead" before storming out. Rated T for that exchange.

"In the photo were two boys who looked to be between her and Luisa’s ages, sitting on what looked like a sand covered cliff. The larger one had slightly lank, greasy looking hair that fell over one of his eyes. He was broad, with thick, soft looking arms and a round, acne spotted face. Leaning against his side, under his arm, was a much smaller, scrawnier figure with a large nose, unruly curls, and tired eyes. At first she thought he was wearing a forest colored blanket around his shoulders, but then caught sight of a sleeve — a jacket, she realized, though not one in the style usually worn around Encanto. It must belong to the larger boy, she guessed.
Their heads were tilted together, hands were laced together on the smaller boy’s shoulders, and though both of them seemed to have an anxious glint to their eyes, they were smiling.
Unconsciously, she brushed her fingers over their faces. They looked happy together.
Mirabel couldn’t begin to guess who the larger boy was, but the smaller one, with his curls and eyes and nose, coupled with the background, was obvious. 'Tío Bruno?'”

“Wait…what?” Bruno had just led Mirabel to his room seeing that she wasn’t going to leave him any time soon apparently— after that whole chasing fiasco.
“Tio Felix… he—he said you died! The day after the whole ceremony failed, he said you a-and Abuela had this huge fight! It didn’t help that your door went out the day after that!”
“W-w-w-wha- what?!” Bruno exclaimed in disbelief, dropping the paper cut-outs he was about to show to his niece, “How in the world—I only said I was leaving! What made them—how— I mean, do they even have other p-proof that made them assume I would just—?!”
Mirabel looked just as frustrated as he was as she grabbed him by the shoulders, “Don’t you remember the last thing you said?! Of course they ended up assuming the worst!”
