She locks eyes with Trish, a challenge. In the late afternoon sun, they’re the clear blues of a spring lake as it refracts the sky as it touches the horizon, disturbed only ever by the white petals overhead as they drift into the water. Her nostrils flare. Her chest heaves. She watches as the black centers of Trish’s eyes seem to grow until there’s little left of her irises but a small ring of blue around the impossible darkness of her pupil, reflecting her in her blood-soaked glory. Consuming her whole.
Trish wants to take a bite or three out of Lady, who may or may not find that incredibly attractive.

The sight of them sending matching glares in his direction is something he would normally find amusing but instead, he feels himself jerk back, shocked at both the accusation and the distinctly flat tone of Lumine’s voice.
